well hello there. it's sorted, my travel plans are well on the way to being sorted. i am now going on a two week LOOP of South Africa with Lie the dutch chiiick, we are starting off coaching it up to the Kalahari, right on the border of Namibia, then up firther to johannesburg, then down to the eastern cape to check out durban and kwazulu natal after which we plan to make our way back to wet and rainy cape town, via the garden route! WOOHOO! i'm sehr exited!
only got one more week at the project and the host family (which i'm pretty pleased about)
this weekend has been fun, back in goodwood at aussie amys familys place for some fun 'n' frolicks. we went to a college beauty pageant sort of thing which amys host mum was judging at and then ended up gate crashing an american/ sout african student house party which took me back to the good ol' days (i'm a craving a house partay) there was some interesting dancing there and a one man band wearing tight pea green lycra leggings and doing cover versions of Devo, a truly cultural experience.
it's peeing it down over here, i think this weekend there was a storm or something so it feels like im back in the UK really. today we went to a massive shopping centre and i ended up getting another piercing, just a cartilage piercing don't worry it was a reputable and clean looking place, i shall take the neccessary precautions to prevent infection!
